Other upcoming events:
Thank you for joining Tekla User Day Denmark 2026. The event brought Tekla users, specialists and industry professionals together at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel for a full day of technical insight, practical examples and networking.
The IDEA StatiCa User Meetings have been arranged in cities across the Nordics in the past few years, creating a forum to connect with peers, get inspiration from user presentations, tips and tricks sessions from the Construsoft team, and representatives from IDEA StatiCa. And now it’s back on the agenda!
We have helped Nordic Fastening Group (NFG) with a Tekla component for their concrete column shoe bolt system, the NEO-PF system. The component makes it easier to model NFG column shoes directly in Tekla Structures, configure different sizes and bolt layouts, and generate product reports for ordering or quote requests.
Tekla User Day Denmark 2026 is coming up. This year’s programme includes presentations from MT Højgaard, Per Aarsleff A/S and COWI, with project-based examples of how Tekla is used across tendering, design, fabrication, construction and planning. You will also hear from Trimble, LearnGrasshopper and the Construsoft team.
Construsoft Nordics now delivers Trimble SketchUp as part of our software portfolio. SketchUp is a very practical tool for contractors, engineers, project managers and site teams working in classic construction projects.
Trimble Connect Planner e-learning: In this 30-minute e-learning, we introduce the core workflow in Planner, show how it can be used for both building and infrastructure projects, and explain the key setup options that help teams get started with 4D Construction Planning.
The new Drammen City Bridge presents slim, clean lines and a welcoming expression for pedestrians and drivers alike. Behind the surface, however, lies curved and twisting geometry, congested reinforcement, and late design changes added to an already demanding design. From an early phase, the team at Degree of Freedom chose a fully parametric approach to make it all come together.
Many steel fabricators experience disconnected workflows and want a more connected experience where engineering, supply chain and production work together with a digital model at the center. Igor Guerra, which has more than 14 years of experience in the industry and first hand knowledge of the struggles, walks through some possibilities with Tekla Powerfab.
Tekla 2026 introduces a new set of updates across the Tekla portfolio, focused on improving workflows from design and detailing to fabrication and site execution.
This year’s release brings developments in AI-assisted tools, drawing and design efficiency, and connected project data across Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, and Tekla PowerFab.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Lysaker for the Norwegian Steel Association evening event, “Practical Workflows in Frame Analysis and Connection Design.”
We hope you enjoyed the presentations and the opportunity to meet industry colleagues during the breaks.
BuildingPoint Scandinavia has released Version 3 of the Trimble Connect Planner extension.
Planner is now being applied to infrastructure projects and road construction. Read the article an see examples from Skanska and Veidekke.
As 2025 draws to a close, we want to extend our sincere thanks to all our customers, partners, colleagues, and vendors for another productive and rewarding year.
BuildingPoint Scandinavia is joining forces with Construsoft to form a unified organization focused on delivering one of the most complete portfolios of digital construction solutions in the industry.
To simplify the modeling and ordering process for standard welding plates, we’ve developed a custom Tekla component specifically for Nordic Fastening Group’s SPS and SPK plate types. The component is now available for download via the Tekla Warehouse!
A telecom mast project in Jutland, Denmark, required KI Consulting Engineers to verify a heavily loaded anchoring detail that standard code checks could not reliably assess. In this recent webinar hosted by IDEA StatiCa it was demonstrated how a full 3D reinforced-concrete analysis using IDEA StatiCa 3D Detail helped establish the actual capacity of the system.
Meeting the demands of modern structural engineering means tighter timelines, more complex geometries, and higher expectations for transparency. KI Consulting Engineers meet them with the right tools and a mindset that turns into method!
BuildingPoint Scandinavia have made a BVBS viewer to easily visualise and check the rebar geometry in BVBS files. FREE Download!
Tekla Organizer is a powerful tool for managing and accessing model data—especially in large and complex projects. In this short video tutorial, we walk through how to use Organizer efficiently to filter, group, and report model information!
With version 25.1 IDEA StatiCa 25.1 have matured into a comprehensive, practical toolkit to design, analyze, and verify every part of a steel-to-concrete connection within a single environment, with full control over anchor types, stand-off conditions, and code compliance.
IDEA StatiCa 25.1 is out now, bringing a set of practical improvements aimed at streamlining common tasks in anchoring and steel connection design.
We’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in Herning for the Industry Afternoon Workshop – Digital Workflows in Precast Concrete!
Did you miss the event? Read all about it here!
The "Steel Days" 2025 events are just around the corner in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. These national events are key gatherings for structural engineers, steel detailers, and professionals involved in steel construction.
Ensure your bolts are deliverable and your model data complete – directly inside Tekla Structures: The Pretec Modul Pluss Norway app connects Tekla Structures to Pretec’s bolt catalogue, allowing you to verify that the bolts used in your model exist in Pretec’s current product range.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the IDEA StatiCa User Meetings this year across Tampere, Reykjavik, Lysaker, Stavanger, Aarhus, Copenhagen, and Stockholm!
Easier stair-landing detailing: The ‘IC Trapp Reposforbindelser’ (stair-landing connectors) from Invisible Connections is now available as a native Tekla component package. It streamlines modeling and documentation of stair-landing connections with accurate product data included from the start.
Trimble Connect is a powerful platform for sharing, viewing, and managing construction models. But sometimes projects require a little extra functionality tailored to specific needs. That’s where extensions come in! Read more, see the video with an example from our team!
At the 2025 IDEA StatiCa User Meeting in Finland, Pavel Ostrovsky, Design Manager at Rambøll, shared how his work with reinforced concrete design has evolved alongside IDEA StatiCa. What began in 2019 with limitations and frustrations has grown into a powerful toolset now applied on industrial projects across Europe and the Americas.
At NYMO, augmented reality has become a practical tool in daily fabrication work. Using Trimble Connect and Trimble SiteVision, engineers can bring the 3D model into the field to check assembly, detect errors earlier, and document findings directly on site.
Six months into 2025—where did the time go?! It’s been a packed first half of the year, and before everyone heads off for a well-earned summer break, we wanted to look back at what’s been going on, and more importantly: What’s coming next!
Modeling complex anchoring scenarios in reinforced concrete just got more manageable! Two new Boolean operations in IDEA StatiCa DETAIL—Negative Volume and Cutting Plane—simplify the creation of non-standard concrete geometries. See the video to learn all about it!
