Concrete column shoe custom component for Tekla Structures
We have helped Nordic Fastening Group (NFG) with a Tekla component for their concrete column shoes and foundation bolt system, the NEO-PF and NEO-GS system. The component makes it easier to model NFG column shoes directly in Tekla Structures, configure different sizes and bolt layouts, and generate product reports for ordering or quote requests.
Custom component for NFG Column Shoe
SCREENSHOT: The Nordic Fastening Group NEP-PF Concrete Column Shoe component makes life easier for the designers, ensuring quick and correct modeling of the column shoe. Purchasers will be able to place orders on the correct products directly very easily with the automatic and built-in reports.
Custom components help turn repeated modelling tasks into controlled, reusable workflows. This is especially useful for OEM products, where manual modelling can take time, introduce errors, and make ordering documentation harder to maintain.
For precast concrete column shoe systems, the connection details need to match the selected product size, bolt layout, grouting thickness, reinforcement settings, and column geometry.
Together with Nordic Fastening Group (NFG), we developed Tekla components that allow users to place the required column shoe size directly in the model.
The component adapts to rectangular and cylindrical columns, supports column-to-foundation and column-to-column connections, and can be configured with four, six, or eight bolts.
