Thank you for attending Tekla User Day 2024!
VIDEO: Here’s a short ‘Thank You’ video from the BuildingPoint Scandinavia team!
Tekla User Day 2024 was held in Norway and Denmark by BuildingPoint Scandinavia this May! We hope everyone who attended had a fantastic time, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2025!
This year, we hosted two events: the first in Oslo and the second in Copenhagen. Both events featured user presentations, tips & tricks sessions from our team, and of course guest speakers from some of our partners.
Networking
However, Tekla User Days aren't just about presentations. They're also about networking and social interaction with fellow Tekla users. We hope you left feeling energized and inspired!
What’s next?
We will send out a survey to all participants to gather feedback on what was great and what can be improved. Planning for Tekla User Days 2025 is already underway, and we appreciate everyone who takes the time to provide their insights!
On behalf of the BuildingPoint Scandinavia team:
Thank you for coming! We sincerely appreciated meeting everyone.
Special thanks to
A special thank you goes to our customers, and partners who gave a presentation during the two events!

Thank you for joining Tekla User Day Denmark 2026. The event brought Tekla users, specialists and industry professionals together at Copenhagen Marriott Hotel for a full day of technical insight, practical examples and networking.
We have helped Nordic Fastening Group (NFG) with a Tekla component for their concrete column shoe bolt system, the NEO-PF system. The component makes it easier to model NFG column shoes directly in Tekla Structures, configure different sizes and bolt layouts, and generate product reports for ordering or quote requests.
Tekla User Day Denmark 2026 is coming up. This year’s programme includes presentations from MT Højgaard, Per Aarsleff A/S and COWI, with project-based examples of how Tekla is used across tendering, design, fabrication, construction and planning. You will also hear from Trimble, LearnGrasshopper and the Construsoft team.
The new Drammen City Bridge presents slim, clean lines and a welcoming expression for pedestrians and drivers alike. Behind the surface, however, lies curved and twisting geometry, congested reinforcement, and late design changes added to an already demanding design. From an early phase, the team at Degree of Freedom chose a fully parametric approach to make it all come together.
Many steel fabricators experience disconnected workflows and want a more connected experience where engineering, supply chain and production work together with a digital model at the center. Igor Guerra, which has more than 14 years of experience in the industry and first hand knowledge of the struggles, walks through some possibilities with Tekla Powerfab.
Tekla 2026 introduces a new set of updates across the Tekla portfolio, focused on improving workflows from design and detailing to fabrication and site execution.
This year’s release brings developments in AI-assisted tools, drawing and design efficiency, and connected project data across Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, and Tekla PowerFab.
To simplify the modeling and ordering process for standard welding plates, we’ve developed a custom Tekla component specifically for Nordic Fastening Group’s SPS and SPK plate types. The component is now available for download via the Tekla Warehouse!

Ensure your bolts are deliverable and your model data complete – directly inside Tekla Structures: The Pretec Modul Pluss Norway app connects Tekla Structures to Pretec’s bolt catalogue, allowing you to verify that the bolts used in your model exist in Pretec’s current product range.
Easier stair-landing detailing: The ‘IC Trapp Reposforbindelser’ (stair-landing connectors) from Invisible Connections is now available as a native Tekla component package. It streamlines modeling and documentation of stair-landing connections with accurate product data included from the start.
Nordic Fastening Group (NFG) now offers a plugin (developed by BuildingPoint Scandinavia) for their customers to helps engineers model bracing rod systems directly in Tekla Structures—accurately, efficiently, and with built-in product data!
