For engineers starting out with reinforced concrete design in IDEA StatiCa!

The course introduces the basics of B-Regions, RCS code checks, and 2D element modeling.

Through guided workshops, participants will learn how to design and verify beams, T-sections, and reinforcement layouts, with an introduction to 3D Detail and BIM integration.

  • Reinforced concrete B-Regions

    • Application overview (RCS, Beam)

    • Workshop 1: Reinforced sections analysis and codecheck with RCS

    • Workshop 2: Design and codecheck of reinforced straight and polygonal beams (2D and 3D!) using the Beam application

    • BIM Links using CheckBot

    Reinforced concrete D-Regions

    • Theorical background (CSFM) and the Detail application, and practical examples.

    • Workshop 1: Structural design of a concrete wall

    • Workshop 2: Structural design of a beam with dapped end with opening

  • This class introduces new IDEA StatiCa users to the IDEA StatiCa software and teaches basic modeling and analysis functionality.

  • This course is offered as live online training via Microsoft Teams.

    Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the instructor, ask questions, and receive personalized feedback, ensuring an interactive and comprehensive learning experience!

    Language: The course will be conducted in Norwegian, Danish, or English, depending on the participants' nationality, allowing for real-time interaction and tailored instruction that ensures a thorough and practical understanding of the material.
